Following last year's great success,
The Italian NGO New Trends, in collaboration with the Lazio Region
and the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research,
organized once again this year a drawing, poster and slogan competition.
Students and teachers in the Lazio Region were invited to take part
and submit their art works on the topic of world hunger with reference
to the 2003 World Food Day theme: Working together for an International
Alliance Against Hunger. |

On 27 November 2003, an official celebration ceremony took place in Rome's Palazzetto dello Sport for winners to receive their awards. Funds were collected for donation to country micro-projects through the FAO TeleFood campaign. Some of the best art works will also be reproduced as greeting cards. | ||
